'Spare a Thought for the Little Guy' is a super tough old school platform game inspired by the likes of 'Manic Miner' and 'Chuckie Egg'. Strike a deal with the devil and collect lost souls while avoiding death by demons, cannons, guns, acid baths, spikes, mantraps, gad flies, crushing lifts and the endless march of time. Use cursor keys to run, a and z to climg up and down ladders and space to jump. There are 10 levels in total, starting out easy but each one is bigger and tougher than the last. The game features original music created using retro-gs01.

'Slidewayz the Game' is an abtract rule discovery game, where-in the whole idea is to work out how the game works and what the rules are. The easiest part is working out the controls. Featuring simple but pleasing graphics and a soundtrack generated by the gameplay, this can very quickly become a really frustrating puzzle.

'Just Yer Good Ol'Fashioned Space Invaders' is a copy of the classic arcade shoot-em up featuring carefully recreated graphics and sound effects. Controls are cursor keys for left and right and space to fire. The game features original music created using retro-gsx.

'Gridpix - Retro Heroes' is a retro game themed picross style puzzle game with 32 puzzles spread across 2 levels (8x8 and 16x16 puzzles). Control using your mouse. The game features original music created using retro-gsx.

'Bepuzzled Redux' is my attempt to create a match 3 style puzzle game with Commodore 64 styled multi-colour graphics and sound. This game is yet to be completed but I thought I would make this demo version available. Control using your mouse. This demonstration is not yet feature complete although I do intend to finish this some day. The game features original music created using retro-gs01.

'Rocky Redux' is my attempt at a 'Boulderdash' style game but in this case the gameplay has been stripped down to its most basic form in order to give a pure playing experience; collect diamonds while avoiding falling boulders. Again this features Commodore 64 style graphics and sound. Controls are cursor left and right, a and z to move up and down and space to start. There are just 2 levels in this short demonstration but I do intend to finish development of this game some day. The game features original music created using retro-gs01.

At times I may make experimental games available here - rather than work in progress these will be more proof of concept.
